This Privacy Policy applies to eclecticemporium.store, operated by Eclectic Emporium LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). It covers the Eclectic Emporium homepage and company pages, and the original games we host on this site. It explains what information is collected when you use the site, who collects it, and the choices you have.
The short version: You can use the site without an account. We do not sell personal information. Some of our original games show ads served by Google, and Google and its partners use cookies to serve those ads. You can control personalized ads through Google Ads Settings.
An account is never required to play. If you choose to sign up or log in, your email address, an optional display name, and basic account details (such as when the account was created) are stored by our authentication provider, Netlify Identity. We use this only to run your account.
If you email us or use the contact form (which opens your own email app), we receive your name, email address, and whatever you write. We use it only to reply.
Like almost every website, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps). Advertising partners described in section 3 may also collect information through cookies and similar technologies.
Our web apps and games are Progressive Web Apps (PWAs). Game progress, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device using standard browser technologies.
Our service worker caches the app shell (HTML, CSS, JS) and static assets (icons, images, audio) on your device. This enables faster loading and offline access.
Game saves, preferences, and play history may be stored in your browser's Local Storage or IndexedDB. This data stays on your device.
You can delete locally stored data at any time by clearing your browser's cache, cookies, and site data for eclecticemporium.store. Uninstalling an installed web app also removes its cached data.
Some of our original games hosted under eclecticemporium.store/games/ show ads served by Google (Google AdSense H5 Games Ads). These may appear between play sessions or as optional rewarded ads that you choose to watch in exchange for an in-game bonus.
Where required by law (for example, for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland), we ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown. If you do not consent, you may still see non-personalized ads.
Most games in our games catalog are provided by Playgama and run inside sandboxed iframes. Playgama and its advertising partners may show their own ads and use their own cookies inside those games, under Playgama's privacy policy.
Some instruments embed tools from Google's Chrome Music Lab, which is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
The site is hosted on Netlify, which also provides optional accounts (Netlify Identity). Netlify processes server logs and account data on our behalf under its privacy policy.
We load fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests these fonts, Google may receive your IP address. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
We use information to run the site, provide optional accounts, answer messages, keep the site secure, and support free play through advertising. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only with the service providers and advertising partners described above, or when required by law.
Our site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in the EEA and UK, or the CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal information. Contact us to make a request.
